Located in Aldo Park, the garden serves as a living memorial to our deceased members. Mrs. Anthony Aldo, who served as President of the Long Hill Garden Club in 1947, donated the land for this park in memory of her husband. It is a legacy for our children and a safe haven for birds and small wildlife.

Trees and shrubs are planted together with large flower beds to form an oasis of beauty for passive recreation. The evergreens and flowering trees provide food and protection for the birds. Continuing displays of daffodil, tulip, iris, peony, lily and chrysanthemum delight the eye.

It is our hope that this memorial garden will be a source of pleasure and enjoyment for our town and its people for many generations to come.

The Long Hill Garden Club remains actively involved in preserving this garden treasure. In an effort to enable easier access into Aldo Park, the Long Hill Garden Club is continuing ongoing discussions with the Parks Commission about road improvements.
